Happy Birthday, Little Girl!

By Megan Cynaumon

Dear Avery,

A couple weeks ago, we celebrated your 2nd birthday. How are you already 2?! I had the pleasure of spending the whole day with you, from birthday waffles to a beautiful birthday dinner made by your very skilled Dad surrounded by amazing people who love you more than I’ve ever seen any group of people love one tiny human.

We went shopping and took a trip over to the beach. It was such a beautiful day! The next day we had your birthday party at one of our favorite parks as a family. I’d say you had about 40 people come celebrate YOU. You have more friends than I do. 🙂 We also went to the Stanford basketball game where you were dressed up as a dolly and got to dance with the Tree on center court. You are pretty brave, that Tree is creepy looking!

I wanted to share some pictures that I was able to capture that weekend. I know you won’t remember this weekend years from now, but at least you’ll have this to look back on!

All smiles for birthday waffles!

Your Uncle and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating you. You are so clever, so funny, so smart, so easy, so laid back… and you are only 2! Can’t wait to see how the rest of your life unfolds.

With Love,

Aunt Megs
